The electronic course was prepared for Dentistry students and provides basic information for a self study of the CNS and PNS structures - see histological slides:

     Spinal cord

    • Brain

    • Cerebellum

    • Sympathetic ganglion

    • Dorsal root ganglion

    • Cerebrospinal nerve

Trigeminal (Gasser's) ganglion has not been included as as a time subsidy for the course has not been increased for this issue. A detailed description of trigeminal ganglion is given in practical classes. Knowledge of this topic and of the slides is required for revision tests, credit and final examinations in histology and embryology.

  • This part is devoted to light microscopy of the spinal cord.

  • This part describes light microscopic structure of the cerebral cortex.

  • This part of the course deals with the microscopic structure of the cereberal cortex and the choroid plexus.

  • This part is devoted to light microscopy of the autonomic ganglion and the  vegetative nerve.

  • This part describes light microscopic structure of the cerebrospinal ganglion.
