Laboratory manual
Design part
1) Open the program Autodesk Inventor Professional 2019
2) Try to generate mesh according the instruction of your lector
- Create the individual cube element
- Built the 2D platform
- Generete 3D model
Printing part
If you do not know what is the next step, follow the external screen at the Lab, where is the picture manual how to fulfill the task.
1) Open File „cube“ on the PC.
2) Choose cube.stl and run it.
3) Check the model in Meshmixer SW, export as xxx.stl to SD card (I
4) Anything wrong? Try to fix it by basic tools:
- Edit – Transform
- Edit – Plane cut
- Edit – Align
- Analysis – Inspector
5) If the model is OK, export it as yyy.stl to SD card (I
6) Open KISSlicer program on the main screen.
7) Change the properties (size) of the model accoding minimal parameters of the 3D printer Delta TriLab.
8) SLICE
9) Save result as zzz.gcode to SD card and plug in the card int the printer.
10) At the printer, choose the file zzz.gcode and start printing.
Testing part
1) Research, design and print of 3D scafolds of various shape elements (or cube only) incorporated into uniform test samples 20x20 mm.
2) Do a weight measurement of all given samples for statistical processing. (Instron 1 kN)
3) Create of a set of stress tests to calculate Young's modulus of elasticity.
4) Evaluate the results.
