DEPARTMENT OF HISTOLOGY AND EMBRYOLOGY
Dear colleagues,
on behalf of the Dept. of Histology and Embryology let me welcome you. Due to the current epidemiological situation, the Department of Histology and Embryology will ensure the teaching of its subjects in the following period for lectures, practical classes and seminars of all study programs in the form of full-time (face-to-face) teaching. Times of the tuition will be the same as in the valid schedule. You will always be informed about any changes in the form of teaching in due time.
This system requires you to follow the original timetable of our subjects (you can download the schedule from the faculty website, or in electronic form to mobile devices from the SIS).
All information on the organization of teaching and materials for lectures and practical classes are available at Moodle of our department. Please enroll in the course for your study program.
By enrolling in the course you will get access to NEWS, where we will actively communicate with you (automatically you will receive a notification for each message to your faculty e-mail), you will get current information on teaching and self-study, you will also find there links to online teaching in MS Teams.
Always read the materials for the lectures that you have available at Moodle no later than the time set aside for this activity in the schedule. In case of on-line lecture - you can ask questions concerning potential confusions via e-mail
forwarded to our secretary. The lecturer will then answer the students' most
important questions the following day.
For histological slides self study please follow our Smart Zoom platform (instructions here): https://fingerland.smartzoom.com/
If you have any questions, please contact the secretary of the department: ulrichma@lfhk.cuni.cz
Epidemiological measures
The current measures in force for our Medical Faculty are published here.
I do believe that you will prove to be well-motivated students with enough self-discipline, despite extraordinary measures, to enable us to successfully complete the summer semester together. Thank you.
On behalf of the Department of Histology and Embryology,
Jaroslav Mokrý
